Competency Statement

Having been a musician and producer who has formed multiple independent bands while concurrently working as a freelance designer and technologist for tech startups, I know advanced concepts and methods of audio engineering, applied music composition and theory, music performance, music business, visual design, and web development well enough to handle all aspects of writing, recording, releasing, and promoting music at a level equivalent to upper-division music and digital communication courses.

I am requesting an oral review for upper division APEL credits.

* This is a video of me playing a song I wrote with my bandmate in my band TCA. I programmed the music software Ableton Live to capture my guitar performance and play it back so I could switch to playing guitar to drums partway through the song.
